ROCKCITY FM GOLDEN VOICES AWARDS 2014

Rockcity 101.9FM Abeokuta honours veterans in the Nigerian broadcast industry amongst them are Anike Agbaje Williams – The 1^st face on TV in Africa, Femi Sowoolu, Jones Usen, Olusesan Ekisola – 1^st GM of Ray Power, Willy Thomas- Former Presenter/Producer Deutshe Welle , and a post humous award went to the Late Walter Oyatogun who held sway in sports broadcasting in Nigeria.

The Rockcity Golden Voices Awards took place on Friday October 10, 2014 in Abeokuta, Ogun State with Governor Ibikunle Amosun as Chief Host, he was represented by the Ogun state SSG Barr Taiwo Adeoluwa.

This annual event is aimed at celebrating the men and women who have chart the course of broadcasting in Nigeria.
